This is us today
Today the church serves the Milland Valley, extending from Redford through Milland as far as Borden Village. It is always open in the day. The graveyards (including the one on the Iping Road, the original site of the Church of the Good Shepherd) are also open to visitors for prayer or simply to enjoy the quiet. Our church attracts support from a wide rural area and its worshipping life is vigorous and strong.
We are all fortunate to have inherited a church in such a setting together with its history of faithful witness over the years. We now need to ensure that we look after such a wonderful listed building.
In the past few years, our congregation has grown and many more younger families with small children are now worshipping with us. At busy festivals, our Grade II listed church has become very full. There is now a paramount need for essential basic amenities and a church room annex.
